Tekno builds scale models of trucks for manufacturers, transport companies and collectors from all over the world! With a great eye for detail, Tekno reproduces trucks at a class that do not lack a mirror or light when compared to the (large) original. This makes Tekno an absolute worldclass player within their branch, who has also fully embraced the collector’s needs.
After finding out that the previous webshop, built up in Magento 1, no longer met all their wishes, Tekno was looking for a new system, with preference for Magento 2. There was also a integeration with Dynamics Nav, but it too did not meet all the requirements that Tekno had in the mind. The most important wishes at a glance
Both a business and consumer webshop, in 4 languages, have been set up, where the customer can order easily and quickly, also through mobile. The business webshop is protected, where customers can see their own prices, retrieve sales orders from Navision (even those that are not placed in the shop) and make reservations for the expected models. By using Mconnect, products can be added and updated from Navision, as well as customers and customer prices. Orders that are placed in Magento also go directly back to Navision via Mconnect so that the order can be processed and the stock is updated.
The collector can indulge when navigating through all models, both new and old, including the digital museum, where previous models can still be admired. The business customer has a fast and easy system where reservations can be made quickly, products can be ordered and has full insight into all orders, invoices and shipments placed.
