We collect data and use cookies to secure our website and to improve the visitor experience. In addition, we collect the surfing behavior on our website, in order to gain insight into how it is used.

We also use Mailchimp to inform our relations and customers about the latest innovations in Magento and eCommerce. This works by means of an opt-in system, and it is always possible to unsubscribe.

Access to this data is limited to the Ecomwise team. Data from Google Analytics is stored anonymously on Google’s servers for 26 months. The data of Mailchimp (email address and name) is stored on the servers of Mailchimp, and is stored until you log out of it.

Security

Our website runs on the most up-to-date version of WordPress, and is hosted with the most advanced techniques. Personal data is only sent encrypted over https.

Google Analytics

We have a processor agreement with Google. The IP addresses are anonymized, we have disabled “data sharing” and we do not use other Google services in combination with the Google Analytics cookies.

Wordfence

Wordfence is used to keep the website safe and to prevent hackers from accessing our website.

Cookiebot

The analysis, explanation about the cookies, and asking for permission is automatically performed by the Cookiebot service. Cookiebot ensures that we comply with the regulations regarding the placement of cookies

Hotjar

Hotjar registers how a visitor moves around the website. This way we know which elements of pages are viewed properly and which are not. We can then optimize the content for our visitors. We do not collect location data and cannot see which data you enter.

Leadinfo

To measure the business use of our website, we use the Leadinfo service from Rotterdam. This service shows us company names and addresses based on IP addresses of our visitors. The IP address is not included.
