We recently had the pleasure of delivering a new webshop for Natureko Biodisposables, supplier of sustainable disposables to business and private customers. Natureko came to us for the revamp of their online shop, with the main goals of better findability, higher conversion and a more positive shopping experience for their customers. <\/strong>In addition, they were keen to create a link between the Magento shop and their ERP system Dynamics NAV so that they could easily synchronise products, prices, customers and orders between the two systems. A fun assignment!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The customer<\/b><\/h1>\n

Natureko, a young and growing company based in Waddinxveen, imports bio-based and compostable disposables, offering an eco-friendly alternative to plastic disposables. Natureko is mainly active in food service and stands out for its honest products, personal service, wide range and fast delivery from stock.<\/p>\n

The webshop<\/b><\/h1>\n

After an extensive briefing, we came up with a functional design and layout for the new webshop that is based on a standard Magento environment, supplemented by a number of customisation features. For instance, Natureko offers the possibility to request quotes for personalised, printed products, such as sustainable coffee cups with your own logo, or biodegradable bags with a personal text.<\/p>\n

There are several category pages where you can filter by material (such as banana leaf, sugar cane and cardboard) and by product type (including cutlery, crockery and stationery), and of course it is possible to filter by price.<\/p>\n

Natureko also attaches great importance to design. Based on the corporate identity, we created a fresh and modern design, which is excellently complemented by the beautiful images provided by the client.<\/p>\n

B2B adjustments<\/b><\/h1>\n

Natureko's main target audience is business. Since Magento is primarily a B2C shopping platform, we implemented some customised functionalities.<\/p>\n

Thus, in addition to the consumer shop, a dedicated business environment has been set up (b2b.natureko.co.uk<\/a>) showing wholesale numbers and prices.<\/p>\n

Does a particular customer have special discount arrangements? Those are displayed right here. We made this possible by setting up MCONNECT, the link between Magento and ERP system Dynamics NAV. All prices and discount rules are synchronised to the webshop, so that after logging in, a customer immediately sees the prices applicable to him.<\/p>\n

Business order lists, special shipping rates and other data are also imported into the webshop with this link.<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/h1>

Further development<\/strong><\/h1>\n

After delivery of a new webshop, it is often the case that there are still additional wishes, which is only right: your webshop is never completely 'finished'. Even for Natureko, we are still busy with extra functionalities, small 'tweaks' and discussing possible future innovations. It has become a beautiful shop, and it will only get better!<\/p>\n
