These range from the customised\ncustomised preparation of medicines to the\nproduction and analysis of medicines in stock. In addition, AHZ plays a crucial role in stock management and the careful and timely delivery of pharmaceutical products. Attention to detail and cooperation are at the core of their way of working, with a strong focus on knowledge sharing and innovation to optimise the pharmaceutical care of today and tomorrow.\n<h2><strong>The issue<\/strong><\/h2>\nAHZ had two custom-developed software solutions: AHZ Order and Webviewer. These systems had originally been developed by a former employee, so limited knowledge was available within the current team for maintenance and further development. Moreover, the systems were outdated and did not offer\nthe user-friendliness and modern look appropriate to today's digital standards.\n\nThe challenge for AHZ was to implement a future-proof solution that:\n<ul>\n \t<li>Easy to manage.<\/li>\n \t<li>Providing users with a modern, intuitive experience.<\/li>\n \t<li>Seamlessly integrate with their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecomwise.com\/en\/b2b-e-commerce\/integraties\/\">ERP system<\/a>, Microsoft Business Central.<\/li>\n \t<li>Expandable for future developments and additional functionalities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Our solution<\/strong><\/h2>\nThe existing systems were replaced by a single central environment built on\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecomwise.com\/en\/platformen\/magento\/\">Magento<\/a>, a proven and robust e-commerce platform. This offered AHZ a solid foundation that\neasy to manage and build on. The solution was rolled out in two phases:\n\n<br><strong>Phase 1:<\/strong> Replacement of current systems with a basic environment, with which the\nprimary processes are directly supported.\n<br><strong>Phase 2:<\/strong> Further optimisation and expansion with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecomwise.com\/en\/ecommerce-b2b-webshop\/\">customised functionalities<\/a>.\n\nA strong link with Microsoft Business Central was an essential part of the\nimplementation. In addition, specific features were added, such as:\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Umbrella accounts:<\/strong> Allows master accounts to view historical information from\nunderlying accounts, including open orders and backorders\nwithin an organisation.<\/li>\n <li><strong>Sales agent module<\/strong>: Allows specially configured accounts to place orders\nplace orders for multiple other accounts, providing a more efficient ordering process\nwithin large organisations.<\/li>\n <li><strong>Assignment of a responsible person within AHZ:<\/strong> An internal administrator was\nappointed to manage the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecomwise.com\/en\/b2b-e-commerce\/klantportaal\/\">B2B portal<\/a> maintain and further optimise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>The result<\/strong><\/h2>\nThe new system not only meets all original project requirements, but also offers\nadditional benefits through the implementation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecomwise.com\/en\/hyva-commerce-een-eerste-indruk-vanuit-de-praktijk\/\">Hyv\u00e4<\/a>, a modern front-end technology\nfor Magento. As a result, the ordering application not only has a modern look and feel, but is\nit is also faster and more user-friendly.\n\nThanks to the integration with Microsoft Business Central, users now always have access to\nup-to-date information on stocks, orders and back orders.
