On Tuesday 13 October, the Hyv\u00e4 Town Meeting took place again, in which Hyv\u00e4 provided an update <\/strong>about the latest features in the Good Commerce platform<\/a>. In the last quarter, a number of new and interesting features have been added, which are described in more detail below.\u00a0<\/strong>These new features are accompanied by several improvements.\u00a0<\/strong>Implemented in Hyv\u00e4 CMS and Hyv\u00e4 Checkout.<\/strong><\/p>

Linked Products: each variant has its own product page<\/h2>

With Linked Products, you connect individual products together using shared attributes. Each product has its own page and its own URL. Color and size are the most common examples, but you can also use other attributes. In the category, you display the variants as individual products. On the product page, the customer navigates to the other variants in the series via the linked options. The advantage here is that you don\u2019t necessarily have to work with configurable products in Magento to create a good link between products.<\/p>

Category Merchandiser: categories visually organized from the admin<\/h2>

From the Magento admin, it was always possible to determine the position of the products in the category using number sorting. However, this functionality was not very user-friendly. The Category Merchandiser now makes this process much simpler. With the Category Merchandiser, you can determine which products a visitor sees first in a category. You add products to the category and arrange them in the desired order using a visual grid and a drag-and-drop editor. You can see the product images while working. This way, you can immediately see what the category looks like and whether a product is enabled or not.<\/p>

Form Builder: build forms in Hyv\u00e4 CMS<\/h2>

The Form Builder allows you to build forms in the Hyv\u00e4 CMS editor. Think of forms for quote requests, feedback, or return requests.
You choose the fields yourself, add explanatory text for the customer, and send each message to the appropriate team. You reuse a form on multiple pages. In addition, the Form Builder supports multiple-step forms and the forwarding of submissions via a webhook. With a webhook, you automatically send the filled-in data to another system, such as a CRM.<\/p>

Customizing email templates in Magento has always been quite complex. With this functionality, you can now visually create transactional emails and newsletters in Hyv\u00e4 CMS.
Transactional emails are the automatic messages that your webshop sends, such as an order confirmation or shipping notification. You combine your branding with dynamic customer and order data. Before a template goes live, you check the result with previews, compatibility checks, and test emails.<\/p>

AI Content Generation: creating faster CMS pages with AI<\/h2>

AI Content Generation is still experimental but promising. You write a brief and the function generates a page or section from it. You then review and edit that result yourself in Hyv\u00e4 CMS. You can use your own content to send out the output, and reuse the generated sections as appropriate.<\/p>
